Fabric research and treatment
MEMBRANA 3L TC: Hooded blouson in Membrana 3L TC, a 3-layer light performance fabric made from an opaque nylon outer face laminated to a breathable, water-resistant membrane, protected by an imperceptible polyester base. STONE ISLAND's garment dyeing expertise gives an outstanding color to the outer face while preserving the performance features of the inner membrane. The addition of a special agent to the dye formula gives the piece an anti-drop finish.

Style

Detachable hood; standing collar below. The hood, with visor and deck flap lined in nylon ottoman, is made in Rip Stop Prismatico, a light nylon ripstop bonded to a glossy, water- and wind-resistant polyurethane film finely grooved with a prismatic effect; contour drawstring, adjustable top with elasticized velcro tape, two snaps on the neck flap. Raglan sleeves. Front pockets with slanting overstitched flap and hidden zipper fastening. Stone Island badge on the left sleeve. Hidden ribbed cuffs. Elasticized drawstring in the bottom hem. Hidden two-way zipper and hidden snap fastening.

STONE ISLAND PACKAGING
The shipping materials for Stoneisland.com were chosen with consideration to both the nature and quantity of materials used as well as the notion of reusability.

The box used for shipping is made from recycled cardboard. The inside is lined with a simple box in lightweight, white cardboard, 40% PCW, from post-consumer waste.

Inside, the garments are packaged in re-usable R-PET fabric bags: R-PET is made from 100% PCW, post-consumer waste recycled PET plastic.
