Fabric research and treatment
STONE ISLAND GHOST PIECE_VENTILE®: Ghost pieces are based on the concept of camouflage and are totally monochromatic. Even their Stone Island badge has been created in a special mono-colour version to blend with the garment. Long parka in Ventile®, fabric developed from the finest long-staple cotton fibre, it is neither coated nor laminated. The combination of dense weaving and the swelling properties of the fibre when wet provides an excellent all-weather barrier. Ventile® is an entirely natural product offering a unique level of comfort and touch. It is windproof, breathable and very durable. The version retains all the original qualities of the fabric. Thermo-taped seams for additional protection.

Style

Detachable hood on standing collar, fixed by zip and by snaps on the protective contour and front storm flap. Front with three snap fastenings. Elasticated contour drawstring. Two diagonally placed chest patch pockets, with standing overstitched fixed flap hiding the zip fastening. Hand pockets under a horizontal front seam, with wide flaps, fixed on one edge, with hidden snap on the other edge. Stone Island Ghost badge on the left sleeve. Strap at cuffs with adjustable snap fastening. Hidden two-way zip fastening under hidden snap-fastened placket. Iconic Stone Island detachable down lining in opaque nylon, attached to the outer garment using a system of ties adapted from those used in the sailing world. Standing collar. Snap fastenings on herringbone nylon tape. RDS - Responsible Down Standard certified.

STONE ISLAND PACKAGING
The shipping materials for Stoneisland.com were chosen with consideration to both the nature and quantity of materials used as well as the notion of reusability.

The box used for shipping is made from recycled cardboard. The inside is lined with a simple box in lightweight, white cardboard, 40% PCW, from post-consumer waste.

Inside, the garments are packaged in re-usable R-PET fabric bags: R-PET is made from 100% PCW, post-consumer waste recycled PET plastic.
