01 RESEARCH

Born out of experimentation into a heat sensitive fabric that is extremely striking owing to the way its colour varies depending on changes in temperature. It changed from yellow to green, from white to blue and from pink to grey. This was a totally new way to conceive clothing so that it would interact with the behaviour of the wearer.

03 DETAILS

Trough seasons, the Ice Jacket has been evolved in terms of techniques developed on different fabric bases. In 1990, the “Ice Jacket” evolved in its colours and materials to become camouflage. As the temperature dropped, the camouflage faded until it became solid colour. In 2017 the concept has been applied on a wool knit: the outer face is made with an exclusive heat-sensitive yarn, drastically changing color when exposed to cold.
