"'A SORPRES" charts the origin of some of the first Stone Island pieces in Naples, through their emergence at the city's famed Resina market.
When early '80s and '90s Stone Island collections began to surface among the piles of military surplus and workwear on sale, they quickly became the most prized finds for the city's collectors. Uncovering the Stone Island badge, in the words of the locals, was akin to finding the "golden heart" of the market.
This phenomenon - emblematic of the deep-rooted passion that enthusiasts have always nurtured for the brand - is at the very heart of the project. It is the source of the decades-long communion between Stone Island and its Neapolitan family.

Located within Palazzo Fusco, the Stone Island flagship store is located on Via Filangieri, one of Napoli's most prominent streets. The space, developed in collaboration with OMA/AMO, has been conceived as a direct dialog between the interior and the city.
