Since its founding, Stone Island has built and cultivated an ever-growing community of people who share a passion for its DNA, products, and cultural presence in fields like music, art, and sports. In the Spring_Summer ‘024 advertising campaign, members of the global community were featured for the first time, showcasing the diversity and depth of those who are drawn to the Stone Island brand and everything it represents.

01 STONE ISLAND SOUND

Stone Island engages in diverse initiatives revolving around the world of music including STONE ISLAND SOUND, a curatorial project that supports independent contemporary artistic production through curated soundtracks, record releases, in-store and digital playlists, and live events. In 2015, the brand launched STONE ISLAND PRESENTS, bringing together high-profile talents in electronic music and beyond in a series of events around the globe.

In 2023, Stone Island became the Official Partner of Focus, the section dedicated to younger galleries at all of Frieze’s contemporary art fairs – London, Los Angeles, New York and Seoul, as well as becoming Official Partner of Frieze 91, the global membership programme that provides access to the communities and art shaping contemporary culture.

FRIEZE NEW YORK

Stone Island continued its partnership with Frieze and Frieze Focus with a new initiative at this year’s Frieze New York, creating a special uniform T-shirt featuring artwork by Hasani Sahlehe for Frieze personnel to wear at the fair.

  • Stone Island at Frieze New York

FRIEZE LONDON

Stone Island continued its collaboration with Frieze at the London edition, held in October 2024, by supporting 34 emerging gallerists as the Official Partner of the international fair’s Focus section, seen as the place to discover new artists. After New York and Seoul, the brand once again created staff T-shirts, this time featuring ‘Artificial Sun II’ by Nat Faulkner, which made full use of the brand’s advanced pigment chemistry.

  • Stone Island partnership with Frieze London

FRIEZE SEOUL

At Frieze Seoul, which took place in September 2024, Stone Island supported 10 emerging gallerists as the Official Partner of Focus, dedicated to galleries founded twelve years ago or less. For the second time, after New York, the brand created staff T-shirts featuring the work ‘Picture 3-7’ by Park Kyung Ryul, who showed at the Baik Art gallery during the fair.
