Porter, the Yoshida Kaban heritage Japanese brand, celebrates its 80th anniversary, with eight special collaborations with world-renowned brands and artists in the field of fashion and art.
Stone Island gives homage interpreting three of their iconic models in its textile research.
A backpack, a boston bag and a shoulder bag made in Polypropylene Tela and Nylon Metal.
Polypropylene, a material with antibacterial properties, is the lightest man-made fibre. The heavy looking fabric astonishes for its specific lightness. The paste coloured yarn is texturized to obtain a cotton looking opaque aspect.
Nylon Metal is a canvas fine-tuned by Stone Island to achieve a specific metallic/iridescent appearance. Fabrics are treated with an anti-drop agent.
The iconic Stone Island badge and the Porter logo are shown on all the bags. The Anniversary label is sewn inside.
Following the preview launch in Japan, the collaboration is now on sale at the Stone Island Flagship Stores, on stoneisland.com, as well as at the Yoshida Kaban Flagship Stores, at Porter Stand and in selected retailers in Japan.
