COMPACT TREATMENT ACTING ON NYLON: Pre-washing these nylon garments at 130° causes a shrinkage of up to 30% of their initial volume, drastically transforming their appearance. The compacted nylon fibres give to the material the characteristic stiff hand and the uneven appearance. The garment is then dyed with specific recipes. The expertise of the pattern makers and the know-how of the Stone Island colour laboratory makes the design of these garments possible, taking into account the high percentage of shrinkage before and after garment dyeing. This STONE ISLAND procedure is absolutely unthinkable in other realities.
