Fabric research and treatment
MIX FABRIC HYPE-TC: Utility pants made by assembling different fabrics for weave and material composition, such as nylon, cotton and Cupro. The elaborate double color recipe dyeing process, developed in the STONE ISLAND experimental dyeing laboratory, amalgamates the look of the fabrics and enhances the difference in color absorption.

Style

Loose fit. Front main material: compacted cotton jersey. Slanting hand pockets. Back main fabric: Stone Island Naslan nylon. Two back pockets: one with a zipper and one with hidden snap fastening. On legs: Left cargo bellows pocket in nylon ripstop, with flap and hidden snaps fastening; the pocket features the Stone Island badge. Slit pocket with zipper fastening on the right leg. Nylon patches at knees, the left one carrying another bellows cargo pocket in Naslan nylon, with flap and hidden snap fastenings. Leg bottoms with elasticized drawstring. Zipper and button fly.

STONE ISLAND PACKAGING
The shipping materials for Stoneisland.com were chosen with consideration to both the nature and quantity of materials used as well as the notion of reusability.

The box used for shipping is made from recycled cardboard. The inside is lined with a simple box in lightweight, white cardboard, 40% PCW, from post-consumer waste.

Inside, the garments are packaged in re-usable R-PET fabric bags: R-PET is made from 100% PCW, post-consumer waste recycled PET plastic.
