The garment dyeing process creates varied shades and depth across the fabric, while the glossy film refracts light for a liquid, three-dimensional appearance.
NO SEASONS establishes a constant within Stone Island’s ongoing exploration of material and form, reintroducing signature textile and design codes as a set of recognisable archetypes engineered for continuous wear. Each NO SEASONS garment features a label lasered with a progressive serial number unique to the item. Hooded jacket made from a lightweight nylon tela bonded to a glossy, transparent polyurethane film with a finely grooved structure for resistance to wind and water. The garment dyeing process lends different shades, depths, and colour nuances to the fabric and textile components. The glossy, grooved polyurethane film refracts light, enhances the chromatic effects, and gives the surface a “liquid” and three-dimensional appearance.
