Who or what else would you have liked to be? 

As a kid, I wanted to be one of two things — either an actor or a fireman.

Do you have rituals? 

I meditate in the morning. You can practice mindfulness in anything. You can do it washing the dishes.

Nothing… oh, that might be a little bit of a lie. I like trainers. And jackets.

What is your favourite season? 

I don't have a particular favourite season. I like all seasons for what they bring.

What's the most remote place you have visited? 

I never thought I’d be on an icebreaker heading towards the North Pole for three and a half weeks.

If I had to pick one, I’d say Rome.

Don't give up. Don't worry. Have trust. Have faith.

Have you ever experimented with making clothes? 

We did it in school. We'd have to draw a shop front and design your own label, design a tracksuit and a pair of trainers. I've always been really interested in that kind of stuff, but I’ve never actually done it.

I try and be like a willow and bend with change, not be like an oak tree all the time.

When Liverpool won 4-1 the other day against Newcastle.
