Polypropylene is one of the lightest fibres in existence, thanks in part to its hollow structure. Even very bulky garments made with this material are surprisingly light. Cargo trousers made from an ultralight 7oz denim tela woven with a 3/1 twill weave composed of indigo-dyed cotton yarn and polypropylene yarn. The result is a denim with a traditional appearance, but significantly lighter in weight. The finished garment is rinsed.
